The Spongeback Whale

The Spongeback Whale was my response to a creature sculpting brief for my 2nd Semester of my Final Year at my University. The whale lives in a salt flats biome, with its main source of food being the insects that hide in the salt. It will swim through the sand, open its mouth and filter out the salt from the insects. The sponges on its back how with filtering out said salt so the whale does not dehydrate.
